As great as this concrete jungle is, it’s always nice to get out and get your sanity back. Whether it’s to upstate New York or across an ocean on another continent, it’s great to wander and see new places. I didn’t realize how much I loved to travel until I studied abroad in Europe. Being from California and going to school in Oregon, I only really knew the West Coast. Then when I decided to go abroad for a summer and live in Rome, it completely changed my perspective on life. It made me appreciate things that we are fortunate to have in the US but also made me appreciate the beauty of other countries. I can’t wait to explore more countries in the near future!
