COQODAQ
It only took me a year, but I FINALLY dined at COQODAQ!
Okay… so I could only get a lunch reservation on a day where the temperatures were below 10 degrees, but ya girl finally got to have her fried chicken so it’s a WIN in my book.
COQODAQ is part of the Gracious Hospitality Management - the same management as Cote Korean Steakhouse (also a dream of a restaurant). They strive to bring Better Fried Chicken to all, with the highest-quality and sustainably sourced ingredients that are completely gluten-free. My mother would be thrilled!
The menu is the type of menu where it’s a little overwhelming, so you need to call over the server and have them explain things to you. My friend and I obviously went for the Chef’s Signature Fried Chicken Feast, which is basically a bucket of their original fried chicken, along with more fried chicken with different glazes. The presentation was just spectacular, and the service was even better! We were constantly be checked on, making sure everything was up to our standards. I also DIED when they brought out the individual portion of soft serve frozen yogurt with seasonal fruit. And the bowl with the sea salt and pepper, served with a spoon?! I’m obsessed, to say the least.
My favorites: all fried chicken (DUH), Gochujang BBQ sauce (there’s 3 other sauces to choose from), and Ban-Chan
