New rental building going up in Midtown East.
As we know in New York City, the skyline is always changing. I remember coming back from my 4-month Covid “vacation” and the Vanderbilt building near Grand Central was nearly complete! Going back to my old neighborhood (Midtown East), there is a new rental building going up on the southeast corner of E 50th Street and 2nd Avenue.
Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by MAG Partners in partnership with Global Holdings and Safanad, the 275-ft tall building is the fourth property in MAG’s Anagram collection. The address will be 300 E 50th Street. It holds 194 rental apartments, ranging from studios to 3-bedrooms with three levels of indoor and outdoor amenities. They are planning to begin leasing in Summer 2025.
